Christmas card/letter

If you didn't get a Christmas card/letter from us this year, you are in the majority. We sent it out super late, and we only sent it to immediate family and to those from whom we had received Christmas cards this year. So I guess if you didn't get one and want one next year, be sure to send us a Christmas card. :)

2011—Year of Joy

This has been an incredibly joyous year for us, thanks mainly to the amazing blessing of having Hannah in our family. There have been some ups and downs, but we have felt great peace and joy through our Savior.

Highlights:

*Thanks to modern medicine and modern-day miracles, Hannah was able to have surgery to correct her breathing problems and is now a healthy, thriving 1-year-old.

*We enjoyed several road trips with Hannah—to St. George, Colorado, and Las Vegas—in order to visit family and to attend Scott’s cousin Tyler’s wedding.

*In July, we attended a fabulous Clayson family reunion in which we participated in many different fun activities in Utah County, Salt Lake City, and Park City.

*We also enjoyed a very fun and eventful trip to Virginia and DC in September to visit Scott’s sister Shannon and her fam and to attend Scott’s niece Katie’s baptism.

*We celebrated Hannah’s first birthday one week before Christmas. So fun!

*We spent the holidays with many of our wonderful family members.

*We thoroughly enjoyed our first full year as parents to sweet Hannah—our pride and joy!

We are truly grateful for our Savior and for His birth, life, and sacrifice for us. And we are grateful for each of you and for your love.

Merry (late) Christmas and Happy New Year!

Love,

Scott, Mary Ann, and Hannah Carter
