equals a couple of happy, shocked, incredibly blessed parents-to-be. :)

We found out a couple of weeks ago, and it still feels surreal (even after 2 more home pregnancy tests and a blood test confirmed the initial results). I know it's pretty early to be announcing my pregnancy (I'm only at 6 weeks), but many of you already know and others are wondering. And I want you all to please pray that I will continue to have a healthy pregnancy and that we will have a healthy Christmas baby.

Carter craziness

I know many Carters have already blogged about this, but I thought I'd join the fun. All 7 of Scott's siblings were in town this past weekend, so we had a weekend full of family fun. Highlights included playing games, eating great food, a baby shower for Sandy, our massive cheering section at Matt's baseball game, takeout at Bombay House, and playing the candy game. Oh, and the nieces and nephews were pretty darn adorable:

canyon fun

A couple weekends ago, my sister Melissa and her fam were up from St. George for a race and my cousin's baby shower. We took the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather up the canyon. Not much can beat roasting hot dogs and making s'mores.

Easter

Scott and I had a great Easter/General Conference weekend! We spent the weekend juggling time between our families. My two older sisters were here from out of town, and Scott's aunt, uncle, and cousin were also visiting from out of town. It was a lot of fun! The few pics I took:

All 11 of my nieces and nephews were here for the annual Easter Egg Hunt in my parents' backyard. Here they are with the Easter Bunny before the hunt.
